Illustrated stories from the Greek myths
“Just the right present for young children.”
Shetland Times
There are many versions of the myths for children out there, but I was particularly wowed by the beautiful illustrations in this one. My seven year-old loved the gore... Perfect bedtime reading for the not-so-squeamish.
Sophia Bennett, The Guardian
Exciting and awesome, really good book
I am 8 and I thought this book was really good for children my age. It has some pretty scary monsters in it which people who are younger than me might find too frightening, but it's still really good. Each story is just the right length for a bedtime story. I like the imaginative monsters and I liked that we were reading ideas from thousands of years ago which were still really exciting.
