Themed events

Teachers keep telling us that they have increasingly less time to organise extra school events, such as book fairs and sponsored reads.

Usborne’s representatives offer a unique service to schools, organising the whole event, with no paperwork or hassle for you, and theme it around your teaching needs. From the Aztecs and Egyptians to the human body, an Usborne representative can advise on themed events to support all key curriculum topics.

Themed activities

Themed events can be held to celebrate important dates in the reading calendar, for example Children's Book Week which this year has a 'Heroes and Heroines' theme or World Book Day, where children can dress up as their favourite book character. The possibilities are endless!

Themed events can also be focussed around an Usborne activity book, such as Big Book of Science Things to Make and Do or Activities for All Year Round, to give pupils a fun and interactive Usborne learning experience.
