Meet the fairies

Lila Blossom is an orphaned palace-kitchen fairy whose hard work has won her a place at Silverlake. Her stunning deep-purple hair and wings immediately set her apart as special - and at fairy school, she's sure to shine.

Meggie is Lila's best friend. A friendly yellow fairy with hair the colour of autumn leaves, Meggie's dream is to weave gossamer and one day make magical fairy fashions.

Bella shares a dorm with Lila and Meggie. Sky-blue Bella is a whiz at flying and a great player on Star Clan's Bugs and Butterflies team - Silverlake's top fairy sport.

Princess Bee Balm is royalty - and don't you forget it! Pink and pretty, she'll stop at nothing to ensure Lila doesn't steal her limelight...

So come on budding fairies - read the books, hold a fairy party and enter the colouring competition!
