I love Silver Spires – but it isn’t the school that I first pinned all my dreams on.

The truth is, I used to dance, and I longed to go to The Royal Ballet School – but I didn’t pass the audition. And I was so crushed that I decided never to dance again. Now there’s a big Silver Spires dance show, and everyone says I should take part. But can I really risk letting ballet back into my life?

Being Italian, it was really hard for me coming to a boarding school in England. But now I love it – I can’t imagine being anywhere else!

Then just when I was really settling in, something terrible happened – and now Papà doesn’t want me to stay at Silver Spires any more! If he makes me go to school in Italy, I won’t see my friends again. I have to change his mind – but how?

Sasha (Success at Silver Spires)

I’m so lucky to be at Silver Spires, and to have so many clever and talented friends. I’ve always been okay at school, but I’ve never found anything I’m really good at…until now.

I love rowing – it feels made for me! I get such a buzz when I’m out on the water, plus all the other girls are great fun. Well, except one. Holly’s always been the best rower in the group and I think she wants to keep it that way – no matter what.
