The girls' fave things

These are our fave (and also slightly embarrassing) things and best bits from our first year at Silver Spires.

We'd love you to tell us your fave things too so that they can be included on our website.

Name Best friend forever Fave subject Fave after school club Nickname How do your friends describe you? Most embarrassing school moment
Nicole Antonia Physics. Debating. It’s fun, and always interesting to hear other people’s opinions. Just Nicole (although I’m sure they all secretly think of me as a swot!) Sensible, hard-working, and probably as a bit of a boffin. I spent my first half-term at Silver Spires being embarrassed about pretty much everything...but I’ve chilled out since then!
Izzy Sasha Music. Just learning about rhythms and beats makes me want to dance! Ballet…of course! Whizz, from Sasha’s silly rhyme (Izzy whizzy, makes me dizzy!) Fidgety, dance-crazy, quick
(see my nickname!) but a bit shy sometimes.
When Mrs. Truman caught me dancing after gym club…although if it hadn’t been for that, I might never have joined ballet club.
Emily Bryony Geography – I love field trips and the great outdoors! Mine of course – the Silver Spires gardening club Ems. Fun, energetic, determined…and a very early riser! All those times that silly girl Jet poked fun at me…still, that’s over now – phew!
Antonia Nicole French – it’s lucky I love languages, as life at Silver Spires is one long English lesson! Fashion – I am from Milan, after all. Toni, especially when I’m with my family in Italy. Italian (obviously!) sweet, upbeat and very girly.

Falling off my bike and fracturing my tibia. Everyone was so worried about me – I felt terrible!

Sasha Izzy English…
it’s one of the few things I feel confident in.
Sculling – what a buzz! Sasha – that’s me. Calm, open and hopefully friendly. Losing my balance getting into a single while sculling and tumbling into the water…in front of everyone!
Bryony Emily PE. Rock-climbing – fun and challenging!

Bry – if you’re being lazy!

Direct, confident and a bit of a tomboy. Having to wear a girly dress at Dad’s birthday party and then stand for photos. Double cringe.
