Reader Reviews

French as a Foreign Language for expats of all ages
As a teacher of FFL to English-speaking expats in France, I have used - and recommended - this great little book time and time again, and not only for youngsters ! A lot more fun than language books to start off and make any beginner feel confident and want to know more.

Going abroad is much more fun if you can speak a little of the language. The book shows you that learning another language is a lot easier than you might think. It teaches you the French you will find useful in everyday situations.

French for Beginners
The Usborne book "French for Beginners" is an excellent book teaching basic and everyday words to children starting French. I picked up one of these books when I was struggling with French at school and now I look and learn a couple of new words every night! It teaches you phrases like "Where are the toilets?" or "What time is it?" etc. So if you need help in language buy this book or another book by Usborne in the language you are learning!
