SPANISH FOR BEGINNERS
This book is excellent for young and old beginners. It is clearly laid out and easy to understand. The CD's English speech is spoken by an English speaker and not an American as in some CDs. The Spanish speakers are very clearly heard and their pronunciation is correct for the most popular regions of Spain. Many books and CDs teach Mexican Spanish which is not always understood - for example 'cinco' with an 's' instead of 'th'. The 'Quicklinks' website is an added bonus and is useful and fun.
