A many layer approach to some of the most interesting wild animals. A short information text is matched by attractive illustrations which include some lovely details to touch and feel and four simple jigsaws to develop the concept of matching pieces visually. Elephants, koalas, lions and pandas are all shown in a simple style.

Animals Jigsaw Book
This book has been in my son's collection since he was 8 months old and at first we removed the puzzle pieces (as he would chew on them)and even without them he loved flipping the pages and feeling the textured elephant. Now that my son is 16 months old we have put the puzzle pieces back and he has found a whole new interest in his book! This has been a great book to have around as it became a favorite right away and later on we were able make it more challenging with the puzzle pieces! Thank you Usborne!

Animals
My 16 month old loves this book. He's just working out how to take the puzzle pieces out by himself and tries to put them back in, but needs a bit of help. It's easy to read and the pictures are bright and fun. (Editor: Thank you for the note about ostriches!)
