My little boy loves it!!!
I purchased this book for my son when he was approximately 8 months old. He has now reached the heady heights of 10.5 months & every day we spend time looking at the colourful pictures together, with me pointing & saying the words to him. It is certainly amongst his favourite toys/items, & as both myself & my husband are avid readers we are thrilled that William enjoys looking at the book - no doubt William exploring the words will come later! The range of pictures is fantastic, all the major themes that a small child needs to become aware of / familiar with, are included. Also, the pages are sturdy enough to be turned, bashed, slapped etc by an enthusiastic little boy. I shall definitely be buying more Usborne books in the future. Sincerely, thank you for a great "First" book.

First picture word book - excellent
i have brought this book for my 19 month old daughter, i would like to say that it is the best book i have ever brought (and i have bought a lot) my daughter loves it, she always chooses to look at this book over any other. she is learning so much from it and can pick out most of pictures if i ask her to find something. the simple pictures and bright colours are perfect for little eyes. i would recommend this book to anyone with a young child.
