You can deck your halls with dozens of wonderful things from this extensive activity book. Decorative ideas include bouncing snowmen, flying angels and glittery star chains. There are also suggestions for ornaments to hang on the tree, from shiny baubles to the fairy who sits on the top. You can also find ideas for painted Christmas cards and wrapping paper. Best of all, the book comes with a thick wodge of sticker sheets to help make your creations sparkle. At the back, there are recipes for yummy treats including pink coconut mice and creamy chocolate fudge.

The other recipe which we actually enjoy eating is creamy chocolate fudge from the Usborne Book of Christmas Things to Make and Do. It's so good that my dad now puts an order in with his grandchildren every Christmas. This Usborne book has loads of easy ideas for making wrapping paper, cards, decorations and gifts, so it's well worth a look.

This book really has it all! Recipes, decorations, Christmas cards...enough to keep the family busy for many Christmases to come! The spiral binding means this book is easy to use and will last for years. There are over 1000 stickers too, making this book fantastic value. Each idea is described step-by-step meaning children can easily use the book on their own to produce surprises for all the family - plenty of gift ideas such as bookmarks and cookery ideas. Make your own cards, decorations, wrapping paper......the ideas seem endless. Great for teachers to use in the classroom too, with some really unusual but simple ideas such as the printed reindeer. Well worth buying.

Excellent book
I work in a school and we often have the Usborne Make and Do books in the staff room from the book clubs. I bought this one to get some ideas for things to do with the children for Christmas cards and decorations. I have ended up not only using the ideas in school but also at home for my own cards and wrapping paper. It has so many great ideas in it.

Big Book of Christmas Things to Make and Do
My family and I had a great run up to Christmas planned with this book last year. We made decorations, cards and baked some of the shortbread for teachers' presents too. Didn't manage to do all the things we wished to but now we will have new things to look forward to this year!
