Usborne Aesop's Fables
One of my favourite story books. I used to read these stories when I was child and am happy to be reading them once again to my children. Thank you Usborne.

Best read-aloud book in our collection
This is by far the best read-aloud book our family has purchased. The wording is smooth, with a vocabulary slightly above my 6-year old's level, but with enough context for her to understand, and plenty of room for her to grow. The stories are not grim, unlike the last two collections of fairy tales and fables I purchased (not Usborne books by the way). This book is an excellent find!
