Luke Challenger
Return to King Solomon's Mines
by Steve Barlow and Steve Skidmore
Luke's been expelled from school and sent to Africa to keep him out of trouble- but trouble has a habit of following Luke wherever he goes. Now the terrifying Sons of Destiny are there, searching for a spear of invincible power, hidden in the fabled King Solomon's Mines. And if Luke doesn't stop them, world domination will be theirs...
“An entertaining, action-packed adventure in the style of Indiana Jones.”
Booktrust
“Fiction for boys aged nine and over at its very best.”
Lancashire Evening Post
Steve Barlow lives in Somerset with his wife, daughter and son. When he’s not writing, he enjoys sailing. Steve Skidmore lives in Leicester and trained as a teacher of Drama, English and Film Studies before becoming a full-time author. He is a great rugby fan (he supports the Leicester Tigers). The Two Steves began collaborating in 1987 after meeting while working at Fairham Comprehensive School in Nottingham, and have produced a large body of work, which they are actively involved in making available as Apps.

A wonderfully colourful adventure story, full of larger than life characters both good and evil, and a real throwback to the ‘Ripping Yarns’ of yesteryear.
