Christmas fun has several ideas for things young children could make to keep the anticipation of the Great Day under control. What’s more, as you would expect from this publisher, they are all easy to achieve and don’t require a fortune spent on materials. An excellent book to enjoy with a child of three-plus on a wet pre-Christmas afternoon.

The cardboard page tabs, which are on a ring binder, allow the book to lie flat open (top tip for craft and cooking). The 11 simple yet imaginative craft activities use everyday materials, and the book is an ideal resource for church, school or home.

Despite the few glitter related accidents these activities have gone down a treat. So, if you are struggling to keep little fingers entertained this Christmas I definitely recommend investing in a copy of Usborne’s ‘Christmas Fun’. Just a word of caution, big fingers get sucked in too!
