Reader Reviews

illustrated classics for girls
Illustrated classics for girls is for all ages, adults and children. The adults would like it because they can look back at all the stories they have read in their childhood. It is good for children, like myself, because you haven't got too many words on a page and the pictures aren't too small. The stories are written in a way which is easy for me to read (aged 7) and they are good stories to share with babies, toddlers and adults, including you!

An enchanting book with well-known classics and beautiful illustrations
This book is fantastic. I've already heard of all the book titles before purchasing it with some birthday money that was given to me from my care home support staff. Each story is accompanied by sumptuous illustrations, especially 'Little Women,' 'Heidi,' 'The Wizard of Oz' and 'The secret Garden.' The best stories in the book are 'The Wizard of Oz,' 'The Secret Garden' and 'Little Women.' Adults may enjoy this book as well as children because adults may want to recall their favourite classic tales they read as children. My father read 'The secret Garden' when he was at school, so I read a bit of that story to him over the phone.
